Antichlor is used in the dyeing process where chlorine levels of the incoming water will cause variations in shade. It can be used to either treat water in a large holding tank or in each dye batch or bleach bath.
PACKAGING VARIATIONS
15 Gal Drum, 30 Gal Drum, 55 Gal Drum, 275 Gal Tote
Use ¼% OWF. Fill dye tub with water and Antichlor. Circulate water for five minutes to give the product time to kill the chlorine. Add the fabric and continue as normal. If treating the water prior to adding the cloth is not possible, treating the fabric will not harm dyeing.
Antichlor should be used in the same way in a bleach bath where peroxide is used because chlorine kills peroxide.

MIRAFLOC is a complete waste water treatment formulation designed to both flocculate out suspended solids and remove dissolved metals such as lead, mercury, nickel, zinc, and copper. This helps ensure that a plant’s waste water meets or exceeds certain restrictions on heavy metals as well as suspended solids and color.
PACKAGING VARIATIONS
15 Gal Drum, 30 Gal Drum, 55 Gal Drum, 275 Gal Tote
MIRAFLOC works best at a pH between 8-10. Raise the pH to between 9 and 10 using either Pharagent S or caustic soda. With some agitation, add MIRAFLOC. The amount required will depend on the amount of suspended solids. Usually, .025% to .1% is sufficient. Once MIRAFLOC is added, recheck the pH to ensure that it is still 8-10. At this point, the floc will either sink or float depending on the specific gravity of the suspended solids.
Of the floc sinks, decant off the clear water and either return to your process for reuse or send down the drain. If the floc floats, either take the clear water from the bottom or skim off the floc.
The floc will have to be discarded in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, depending on the characteristics of the waste being generated.

Only the highest quality products are used in its manufacture to guard against yellowing during drying. SOFTNAP C is resistant to color change and will not sublime at high temperatures. SOFTNAP C also protects against needle cutting and will help the turning of cloth during the sewing operation. Antistatic properties are built into SOFTNAP C to prevent static electricity. SOFTNAP C helps to strengthen fibers and does not promote seam slippage.
PACKAGING VARIATIONS
15 Gal Drum, 30 Gal Drum, 55 Gal Drum, 275 Gal Tote
SOFTNAP C may be applied by pad or in the bath. If applying to dry fabric, 2-3% by weight of bath is sufficient. If applying to wet fabric, higher concentrations will be required. Since the amount of application may vary due to fabric or equipment, actual use rates should be determined to give the most cost-effective results.

APPLICATION
WIK-AWAY II can be either added into a rinse cycle and heated to boil or padded onto the substrate at a rate of 2 – 3%. To test use a 2% solution and adjust as required. Dry thoroughly at 260° - 280°F. Our internal testing shows that there may be improved results when the product is applied in a rinse and heated to boil for 10 minutes. However, it may be less expensive to pad the WIK-AWAY II onto the substrate.
