DEFOAMER 019-B was developed for use in textile wet processing, including pad, jig, boil-off, scouring, dyeing, finishing, and printing operations. It shows excellent foam knockdown, even in low concentrations and performs well in extended runs. It is stable over a wide range of pH values as well as temperature changes.
PACKAGING VARIATIONS
15 Gal Drum, 30 Gal Drum, 55 Gal Drum, 275 Gal Tote
DEFOAMER 019-B is most effective in controlling foam in aqueous systems. Concentrations of 0.25% to 0.5% based on the total mixture are suggested as a start, but often lower amounts are found to give the required defoaming action. Should it be necessary, depending upon the process, small amounts of DEFOAMER 019-B may be added at various time intervals throughout the processing period rather than add the full amount at the start of the process.

DEFOAMER DC is an antifoam/defoamer for use to reduce the foam is water based systems which are used to manufacture personal care items or in equipment and effluent where incidental contact with food manufacturing equipment may occur. DEFOAMER DC has been formulated to disperse rapidly and completely in systems where little agitation is possible. Only the amounts required to destroy the foam should be used. This product was formulated meeting the following parts of CFR 21: 172.884, 176.200 and 178.34.
PACKAGING VARIATIONS
15 Gal Drum, 30 Gal Drum, 55 Gal Drum, 275 Gal Tote
DEFOAMER DC should be delivered into the system neat; not premixed with water because of separation of the active ingredients may occur. Injection into a feed pipe and mixing in the feed is acceptable because the entire package is being delivered at the same time.
Use concentrations can range from 20 PPM to .25% depending on the application and severity of foam.
Prevention of foam formation is always preferable to “killing” of foam.

DEFOAMER EFS-ST 10 is a highly concentrated modified silicone antifoam developed specifically for the treatment of foam problems in HDPE/LDPE/PET water systems. This product combines 7 active ingredients, which help tackle all types of foam at temperatures between 35 F - 200 F. It is a combination of silicone oils plus other non-silicone defoaming agents. DEFOAMER EFS-ST 10 is designed as a food grade and Kosher product and meets the requirements of CFR 173.340.
DEFOAMER EFS-ST 10 is most effective in aqueous systems. Depending on the application,
concentrations of .005% to 0.50% may be needed to achieve a suitable defoaming action. In many cases,
results can be obtained by using even lower dilutions. It has been determined that to defoam typical
wastewater with foam caused by nonionic and anionic surfactants, a rule of thumb is to use 1/5 the
amount of Defoamer to surfactant to prevent foam in wastewater. For instance, if you identify that you
have 100 ppm soaps for detergents, start with 20 ppm of DEFOAMER EFS-ST 10? EFS-ST10 utilizes
multiple defoaming chemistries and is up to five times more effective than DEFOAMER WTC-10.
For best results, DEFOAMER EFS-ST 10 should be added at a point in the system prior to foam formation.
It should be thoroughly mixed to ensure the most economical performance. A good place to introduce
EFS-ST 10 is just ahead of the wastewater discharge pump, that will promote dispersion of the product.

MIRAFLOC is a complete waste water treatment formulation designed to both flocculate out suspended solids and remove dissolved metals such as lead, mercury, nickel, zinc, and copper. This helps ensure that a plant’s waste water meets or exceeds certain restrictions on heavy metals as well as suspended solids and color.
PACKAGING VARIATIONS
15 Gal Drum, 30 Gal Drum, 55 Gal Drum, 275 Gal Tote
MIRAFLOC works best at a pH between 8-10. Raise the pH to between 9 and 10 using either Pharagent S or caustic soda. With some agitation, add MIRAFLOC. The amount required will depend on the amount of suspended solids. Usually, .025% to .1% is sufficient. Once MIRAFLOC is added, recheck the pH to ensure that it is still 8-10. At this point, the floc will either sink or float depending on the specific gravity of the suspended solids.
Of the floc sinks, decant off the clear water and either return to your process for reuse or send down the drain. If the floc floats, either take the clear water from the bottom or skim off the floc.
The floc will have to be discarded in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, depending on the characteristics of the waste being generated.

MIRAFLOC 100 is a complete wastewater treatment formulation designed to both flocculate out suspended solids and remove dissolved metals such as lead, mercury, nickel, zinc, and copper. This helps ensure that a plant’s waste water meets or exceeds certain restrictions on heavy metals as well as suspended solids and color.
PACKAGING VARIATIONS
15 Gal Drum, 30 Gal Drum, 55 Gal Drum, 275 Gal Tote
MIRAFLOC 100 works best at a pH between 8-10. Raise the pH to between 9 and 10 using either Pharagent S or caustic soda. With some agitation, add MIRAFLOC 100. The amount required will depend on the amount of suspended solids. Usually, .025% to .1% is sufficient. Once MIRAFLOC 100 is added, recheck the pH to ensure that it is still 8-10. At this point, the floc will either sink or float depending on the specific gravity of the suspended solids.
If the floc sinks, decant off the clear water and either return to your process for reuse or send down the drain. If the floc floats, either take the clear water from the bottom or skim off the floc.
The floc will have to be discarded in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, depending on the characteristics of the waste being generated.
