MaxGuard

WHITE MOLD & MOISTURE RESISTANT COATING*

MaxGuard is a flat-white protective coating for the long-lasting protection of most construction materials in interior, exterior or high humidity areas. Once cured, it forms a durable and stain-resistant flat-white finish. MaxGuard is breathable to prevent against wet and dry rot and allows for drying if saturated in the future.

*Treated Articles Exemption – This product contains an EPA registered antimicrobial to protect the coating from non-public health fungi and odor causing bacteria. No public health claims are being made.

Once cured, MaxGuard forms a durable and stain-resistant flat-white finish that is water-resistant but breathable to prevent against both wet and dry rot. Additionally, MaxGuard’s low VOC formula contributes 1 point via LEED IEQ Credit 4.2 (low-emitting paints & coatings) to any project.

APPLICATION

MaxGuard is formulated as a ready-to-use coating. It can be applied with a brush, roller or airless sprayer to obtain an even finish. Do not apply past the point of run off. A cross-hatching technique is the best way to ensure sufficient wet/dry film thickness and complete coverage. Consult the Enviroguard New Construction Warranty and Enviroguard Existing Construction Warranty documents for details.
